Hillsdale Craft Supply

Owner Schelesia Mangus has been an artist and crafter since childhood. She began getting into the arts and crafts business in 1995. She founded Hillsdale Craft Supply in 2017. For 20 years, she hosted several online shops, Unique Beaded Gifts, as well as Aquarium Chest Makers and Schelesia’s Creations. But she realized the majority of her customers were from the Jackson, Lenawee, Branch and Hillsdale, MI areas. She decided to contact the Hillsdale Chamber of Commerce, to determine if there was a high demand for a craft supply store in the area. The answer was yes! Before Hillsdale Craft Supply opened its doors, the nearest craft supply store was 30 miles in any direction. So, they opened in June 2017.
